We are pleased to invite you to the next seminar session of the Course in Robotic Manufacturing in Design, Architecture and Construction: “Digital Construction” by Dr. Norman Hack. Norman is an architect and researcher specialising in computational architectural design and digital fabrication. He studied architecture with distinction at TU Vienna and the AA London, later joining Herzog & de Meuron’s Digital Technologies Group as a coding architect. His interest in integrative digital workflows led him to complete a PhD at ETH Zurich (Gramazio Kohler Research), where his work was awarded the ETH Medal and the Swiss Technology Award.
This session will explore how digital methodologies—from computational design to fabrication-aware construction systems—are redefining the future
